Refund policy
At The Third Sin, we take pride in creating luxury handmade chocolates with care and attention. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have a limited returns and refunds policy.
Please be aware that extreme weather conditions especially during Summer can affect our chocolates and we will advise if there will be a delay in posting.
Returns
As our chocolates are perishable food items, we do not accept returns unless the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.
If your order arrives damaged, or you believe there is a fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at ann@thethirdsin.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
We'll review your case and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Refunds
Refunds are issued in the following cases:
- Damaged goods (photo evidence required)
- Incorrect item sent
- Order cancelled before dispatch
We do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Late delivery due to courier delays (unless extreme)
Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days once approved.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom or personalised chocolate gifts
- Sale or clearance items
- Any opened or consumed items

Please contact us first before sending anything back, as we may not be able to accept unauthorised returns
To start a return, you can contact us at ann@thethirdsin.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our registered address.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
If the product you have ordered is defective or damaged, we will offer an exchange immediately.
